"As a school based social worker, I recently supported a family who have been going through a challenging time. Mum had to stop working after a workplace incident and is currently receiving support for trauma, while also managing ongoing medical needs for her younger son. With so much happening, the cost of an ASD assessment for her older son felt out of reach, despite how important it is for accessing the right support. The application process through the Gold Coast community Fund was simple and easy to navigate. Additionally, Kate was especially helpful in ensuring the application was reviewed, the right documentation was in place while also offering other supports in the meantime which made a big difference. This funding will have a truly meaningful impact on the family and I'm grateful for the opportunity it has given them moving forward."

"Morning Paige, Just an appreciation email to yourself and the Gold Coast Community fund for their recent voucher assistance and laptop that had been funded. The vouchers will definitely be a life saviour during this difficult time with the costs of living. My children had been going without because I couldn’t afford to purchase much food ect. My daughter will benefit greatly from the laptop also for her studies and I’ll also use it for my budgeting.
