What is the Gold Coast Community Fund?
The Gold Coast Community Fund is an incorporated body that was established in early 2000 by some of the city's leading business figures. The Fund seeks to raise money through regular art unions, creating a central pool of money for distribution to charities, community organisations and individuals in emergency need. The Gold Coast Community Fund offers a more systematic approach to fundraising and the perfect fundraising solution for not-for-profit organisations large and small.

ART UNION 2011

Thanks again to Southport Sharks we had a very succesful launch of the Gold Community Fund 2011 Art Union. Over 130 people (our best support ever) enjoyed fantastic entertainment, eggs benedict with bacon, fruits, tea/coffee - all the trimmings. Plus we enjoyed having as our special guests some of the recipients of the Gold Community Fund in 2010.

How can groups apply for art union tickets?

Groups wishing to apply for art union tickets can contact our secretary at miss_kate20@hotmail.com

Participants in past art unions have raised thousands of dollars for their organisations, while also helping those less fortunate within our community.

Upcoming events

Sunday 26 June: Gold Coast Community Fund will have a sausage sizzle at the Gold Coast Convention Centre to celebrate the major Harvey Norman sales event. Come along, grab a sausage, support your community and grab a great bargain from the Harvey Norman team. If you want to donate an hour or two to the Community Fund team to flip a snag contact miss_kate20@hotmail.com. Hope to see you there.

How your group can benefit?

The Gold Coast Community Fund coordinates major art unions in conjunction with major sponsor Harvey Norman.Tickets are offered to local charities and not-for-profit organisations to sell on behalf of the Fund and, for every $2.00 ticket they sell, they receive $1.00 after the draw. The more tickets sold by the groups, the more money they receive without the hassle of arranging permits, prizes and presentations. It is that simple.
