What is the Gold Coast Community Fund?
The Gold Coast Community Fund is an incorporated body that was established in early 2000 by some of the city's leading business figures. The Fund seeks to raise money through regular art unions and donations, creating a central pool of money for distribution to charities, community organisations and individuals in emergency need. The Gold Coast Community Fund offers a more systematic approach to fundraising and the perfect fundraising solution for not-for-profit organisations large and small.

Art Union 2013

Get involved and help us fundraise while fundraising for your own group!

(Launched on Tuesday 26 March)
Thank you to all who came along and helped us launch our Art Union 2013,
A great job done by our MC [Ian Cousins] who kept things rolling along during our ninety minute breakfast bonanza.
We enjoyed an informative talk from one of our patrons Karmichael Hunt And viewed a fantastic demonstration from Andrew, an eleven year old blind boy who is being assisted by the Fund to learn how to use a computer. Andrew show cased his new skills by browsing the internet and using the dictionary to look up words beyond his years, (Great job Andrew!) To watch the video click here.
We also heard from many more individuals and charity groups, who have received grants from the Fund in the last year, (Keep up the fantastic work)
The Southport Sharks again did a great job in feeding all 130 of us a breakfast bonanza and thanks again to our prize sponsors
Harvey Norman Bundall - The Gold Coast Suns - Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach.

How to fund raise and raise funds for your Group - Club - Charity - School

If you are a not for profit organisation you can assist the GC Community fund fundraise while fundraising money for your organisation by helping us sell our Art Union tickets.
Participants in past art unions have fund raise thousands of dollars for their organisations, while also helping those less fortunate within our community.
The Gold Coast Community Fund coordinates major art unions in conjunction with major sponsor Harvey Norman. Tickets are offered to any local not-for-profit organisation such as schools, charities, sporting clubs, theatre groups, music groups, community groups Etcetera, to sell on behalf of the Fund and, for every $2.00 ticket they sell, they receive $1.00, when the fund has received the money from your ticket sales, the fund treasurer will issue a cheque to your organisation. The more tickets sold by the groups, the more money they receive without the problems of arranging permits, prizes and presentations.
